Emma’s grandparents have a holiday house in South Carolina, America.
Emma painted one of walls in her dressing room herself. She painted: fashion bags, her favourite car, which is Mini, ice cream, chocolate. And the rest walls she covered with posters that she bought. The room is really big and really colorful and really happy and really bright. She’s also got a massive star on the door.
Things she can’t be without on the set: shampoo and conditioner, a hair dryer, a mobile phone, a lip gloss, teddy bear – a rabit, called Bunnykin, a riddiculus eccentric pair of slippers she got for Christmas, by Roxy – and they’re bright pink and fluffy.
She’s really stressed out around boys. She also think that she’s far from perfect. Why? Because she has “massive spots in the middle of her nose”.
Emma with her pals (when not in school): go to the center of Oxford and watch a film, hang out in Starbucks, go and choose CDs, talk, go to each other’s houses, normal girly stuff.
She makes great pancakes.
In PoA Emma made her stunts: she get get thrown around by the Womping Willow tree. Chased by werewolves, Dementors, the lot.
Her chaperone looks after her when she’s on set – she can talk to her when she needs female company.
Most embarrassing moment while filming PoA: Her Hollywood chair had one of its legs on an electrical wire. She sat down, and it fell backward. Her legs were up in the air like a chicken, and everyone was laughing at her. It took her ages to get out of the chair.
Her average day: “If I’m not filming then I’m getting tutored. I get picked up, come to set – the time varies depending on where we are and what we are doing – I go into costume, hair and make-up, and then we go straight to set, tutoring, or art or dancing.”
She sometimes comes out with lines from movies.
She loves being interviewed.
Her mom disaproves Emma’s massive belt-bottom flares.
Her biggest nightmare is to be stereotyped into the role of Hermione.
