Emma Watson only recently turned 13, and this Harry Potter starlet possesses a highly natural charm, in contrast to her highly coiffed cohorts. Her thick chestnut hair (althought we’re told that she’s a natural blonde) is long and lustrous, and it appears that she’s attempting to grow out her childhood bangs, which still don’t quite stay as firmly behind her ears as she might like. Emma was born “Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson II” on April 15, 1990, in Oxfordshire, England. She moved to France shortly thereafter, where she remained until she was five. She had done very little acting prior to the Potter films, with experience consisting mainly of lead roles in school plays including Arthur: The Young Years, and The Happy Prince. In the year 2000, her drama teacher asked if she’d like to audition for a Harry Potter movie. and she approached her first audition “just for a laugh”. Imagine her surprise when she was cast in the coveted role of Hermione. Since then she’s been featured in many magazines, made several appearances on television talk shows, and inspired scads of Internet fan sites.
Stil a bit young to have made a signature fashion statement, Emma has sported a wide variety of looks. Her overall wardrobe is difficult to categorize, but she does like to to make a bold impression. “I wear a uniform at school,” she says, “but I have these massive belt-bottom flares, and my mom really disaproves of them.” Mom may also disaprove of the most risque piece of clothing we’ve seen paired with those jeans: an off-shoulder , very clingy shirt showing off her impending curvaceousness.
