HARRY POTTER has a rival for the affections of his school pal Hermione Granger.
Emma Watson, the 15-year-old actress who plays the studious schoolgirl in the films, has been stepping out with William Denehy, also 15.
The lucky chap has become the envy of his chums at L22,000-a-year Harrow School, where he has a sports scholarship and is a star player on the rugby, cricket and football teams.
‘William and Emma started going out earlier last year,’ says pal. ‘They don’t get to see each other that much, though, because Emma is often filming and William is a boarding pupil, but they’re in constant telephone and e-mail contact.’
Emma, whose parents are divorced, fits filming Harry Potter around her studies at a private day school in Oxford. William’s banker father and photographer mother live in South London.
