I mean, hey, why not just make Cho Chang a blonde and Harry a latino? Who cares about the books.

um hello guys, yeah LAVENDAR BROWN ISNT BLACK!!!!!

there are a bunch of girls who are, like angalina and stuff, but LAV isnt! WHERE THE HECK DID YOU GET THAT IDEA?

plus JK helps with casting, and i think she would tell the crew how LAV looks. but god she isnt black!

I dont kno who go the idea that she was black. Im black! And don't get me wrong but i don't think u read the book right bc JKR tells u how each character looks. I think that Black Lav. was a fake anyway, bc why until now would they mess up the characters?! I think the best thing 4 u 2 do is 2 go back and read the books again.....but other than that, i like this actress so far, she's pretty. I pray they make this lady look younger tho, bc she looks kinda old.

It's so obvious that lavender brown is black. For example in the third movie, she was a black girl with braids, but had a none speaking role. And second, the name Lavender BROWN is clearly a black persons name. I mean how many white people do you know with the last BROWN. Then Third, in the book her mannerisms are of african desent...... To be honset, I think that there is alittle racist thing going on. David Yates isn't folling the script. Replacing Katie Bell's scene with cho. I bet that this movie is going to suck.....

I believe Lavender is described as a dark haired girl, not a dark skinned girl. I do believe she looks rather old, but with makeup they can do pretty much anything.

Dnt feel bad if yhoo went for the part and didnt get it!
I went for the part of Lyra Silvertounge in the golden compass and i didnt get it, although i did get to the finals =) keep trying!
She duz look a little old for Lav but hey hey...make up will sort her out! im sure the film will be fab! lol
